A weekend dedicated to musical structure, conducting, and collective musical growth within the Element Key universe 🌌

A relaxed, open-level jam to arrive, connect, and tune into the Element Key field together.

🎶 Workshop Content
For the Saturday and Sunday workshops, the following requirements apply:
1️⃣ You have attended at least three The Element Key Jam sessions (we will build upon the basic techniques of The Element Key).
2️⃣ You are willing to step into the role of a conductor (avatar).
3️⃣ You are motivated to learn and grow together as a group 🌱
The workshops will be led primarily by Julian, who will introduce new techniques, structures, and conducting tools.
The focus of the weekend is musicality within The Element Key — learning both how to conduct and how to follow consciously and precisely.
You will explore and practice:
🎼 Standard song structures (e.g. Verse / Pre-Chorus / Chorus)
🎶 Coordinated changes involving multiple musicians (e.g. partial breaks)
🛑 Full breaks
🔁 Call and response
👥 Choral elements
🌊 Variations in dynamics
⏱ Tempo shifts
🔢 Simple time signature changes
To ensure a deep learning curve, each workshop slot will begin with focused input from the workshop leader.
During the sessions, the conductor will receive specific tasks to integrate into their turn. After each turn, you will receive immediate feedback from the group and then conduct again — directly integrating the feedback into your next round.
The themes and techniques will be distributed across the weekend, and each session builds upon the previous one.
⚠️ Important
This is a progressive workshop weekend.
The Saturday and Sunday workshops build upon each other, so participation is only possible for both days.
It is not possible to attend individual workshops only.

Wir möchten unsere Körper in Bewegung bringen. Hierzu werden wir gemeinsam tanzen - jede*r für sich sowie, wenn gewünscht, in Kontakt miteinander. Wir möchten einen Raum schaffen, uns und unsere Körper besser und frei kennen lernen zu können. Hierzu bietet sich Tanz als Schöpfungsart von Selbst-Bewusstsein an.
Jede Woche wird rotierend von einer anderen Person etwas vorbereitet, so dass wir Stunden zwischen Anleitung, Improvisation und freiem Ausdruck miteinander verbringen und so einen Rahmen der Selbsterkenntnis und des Spürens von Gemeinsamkeit anbieten.
Das Angebot richtet sich an FLINTA* (Frauen, Lesben, inter, trans, nicht-binäre und Agender Personen)

A classic the Element Key Jam Session :-)
💚 Socialising happens between 17:30 and 18:00.
⏰ At 18:00 we will start the session and close the doors for this evening, since we need to explain the rules and create a space for exploration. I will be strict about that.
End: latest 22:30.
The Element Key Jam is a mixture of music, dance, poetry and drawing.
It is co-created by all the participants. There is no audience for which we perform.
It is about immersion in the moment and feeling light hearted.
🎷🎺🎤🎨🩰🎹Please bring your own equipment: like instruments, dancing shoes, drawing equipment, written texts or something to write on.
I will bring my Cajon, two mics, a free channel for XLR or klinke, and percussions with me.
You will learn everything you need within the session.
