Die Hochschulgruppe Jena-Vegan trifft sich einmal wöchentlich zum gemeinsamen Plenum.

Im Plenum kümmern wir uns um die Planung kommender Veranstaltungen und entscheiden gemeinsam wie wir uns als Gruppe entwickeln wollen. Falls du selbst aktiv werden möchtest, bzw. coole Ideen hast für deren Umsetzung du Unterstützung suchst, komm gerne vorbei.

Falls du es nicht in Persona schaffst - Wir versuchen die Plenen in der Regel hybrid durchzuführen. Als Plattform dient uns dabei Discord. Den Link zum Server findest du über unsere Webseite, www.jena-vegan.de

Hello people,

I learned about a new jamming approach which I would love to share with you: It is called „The Element Key“ (https://www.theelementkey.com/). It is not only a method to conduct a musical jam, it can also include dancing, poetry, massaging, meditation, acrobatics, drawing, spectating and all other creative things that come to your mind. Within this jam we will create a space where everyone can unfold her or his creativity in a very playful way. I will lead you through the session, you will learn everything needed for the jam within the given time.

The entry to the jam will be closed at 21:00. This is important to create a nice and save space for the people joining. After this time you can not join the event but you can take the next opportunity to join. I will be strict about this.

The jam is open for everyone and the number of participations is not restricted. You can come spontaneously, but if you let me know that you would like to come I would be happy to receive a short message from you.

Please bring your equipment you need to participate (musical instruments, dancing shoes, drawing equipment, etc.). And very important something to sit on.

Diese Veranstaltung ist für alle die Fragen zu Ihren Start in Jena haben, wo kann ich was beantragen, Wo gibt es die besten Nebenjobs und Praktika? Was muss ich bei einer WG Gründung alles beachten? Welche Rechte habe ich als Mieter? Welche Versicherungen benötige ich als junger Mensch wirklich?

Immer wieder stoßen wir auf feministische, antifaschistische, hoffnungsvolle Lieder, die vom Widerstand und vom Kampf für eine bessere Welt erzählen. Wir haben Lust, gemeinsam unsere Stimmen zu erheben! Dafür treffen wir uns im Rahmen der diesjährigen ALOTA (Alternative Orientierungstage an der Uni Jena) zum gemeinsamen, widerständigen Singen.

The Estonian comedian Mari proudly brings more feminism into her comedy and more comedy into her feminism!

Welcome to “Overconfident+Underprepared”, Mari Volar’s first solo hour. From tales of immigrant living and unfortunate foreign policies all the way to being mistaken for beloved celebrities in foggy parks, this comedy show has it all. 

Mari will open corners in her soul she herself hasn't explored before, in the hopes it proves to be funny for strangers on and off the internet.

Mari Volar is an international comedian, MC and event producer from Estonia. Since starting out in stand up comedy in 2019, she has performed to sold-out crowds at various festivals (Edinburgh Fringe 2023, Tallinn Fringe 2022 and 2023; Hundertpro Festival 2021, 2022 and 2023), co-founded the first women-centric comedy festival in Luxembourg (Festrogen Festival) and opened for various touring comedians (Elena Gabrielle, Dragos G, Anshita Koul). Currently based in Cologne, she produces regular stand up shows in English with her collective Random Things Comedy as well as being a regular feature on international line-ups across mainland Europe. 

Her comedic style is cheerful yet dry as she balances observational jokes against the reality of being a perpetual outsider. Mari proudly brings more feminism into her comedy and more comedy into her feminism, creating an over-the-top mix in both that simply cannot be missed. Her witty remarks and tales of immigrant living will make you love, hate and pity her in perfectly equal amounts.

Beginners: basic steps, developing a feeling for the beat, first figures, leading and following (in any role you prefer).

Advanced beginners: more figures, improving of leading and following, free dancing, extra dance techniques
