At the heart of Jena, a student magazine is set to become unique in Germany: the "unique", the intercultural student magazine for Jena, Erfurt and Weimar.
Independently, but with a clear intercultural mission, we ask about the circumstances of intercultural coexistence in Jena, Thuringia and worldwide: what experiences do students make abroad? What contribution do universities, local authorities and the state make to the integration of foreigners? How do racism and intolerance threaten multicultural coexistence?
But the coverage of the "unique" does not end at the gates of colleges. That is why our editorial team uses contributions from all over the world to make people aware of social and political problems and to point out different perspectives.
