Der Fokus liegt auf dem gemeinsamen Musizieren. Wir begleiten die Songs mit Akkorden sowie passenden Strumming- oder Pickingpatterns (ohne Notenlesen). Wir orientieren uns an Tabs und Liedtexten mit Akkorden.
Das Angebot richtet sich an erfahrene Gitarristinnen und Gitarristen, die:
• eine Akustikgitarre (Westerngitarre mit Stahlsaiten) spielen,
• grundlegende Akkorde sicher beherrschen,
• im Takt spielen und zählen können,
• Schlag- und Zupfmuster sicher halten können,
• Freude daran haben, gemeinsam Songs zu spielen.
Es handelt sich nicht um einen Gitarren-Anfängerkurs, sondern um ein gemeinsames Pop-, Folk-, Rock- und Country-Gitarrenensemble für erfahrene Gitarristinnen und Gitarristen, die bekannte Songs in der Gruppe musizieren möchten.

Die Songs für den jeweiligen Termin werden vorab bekannt gegeben, inklusive der empfohlenen Schlag- bzw. Zupfmuster. Bitte bereite die Stücke eigenständig vor und bringe die Unterlagen ausgedruckt oder auf einem Tablet mit. So können wir die gemeinsame Zeit vollständig zum Musizieren nutzen.

Then the Acoustic Guitar Circle is the perfect place for you!
In a relaxed atmosphere, we play well-known songs from the rock, folk, country, and pop genres—featuring artists like Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel, The Beatles, and many other classics.
The focus is on making music together. We accompany the songs using chords and appropriate strumming or picking patterns (without reading sheet music). We work from tablature and lyric sheets with chord notations.
This group is aimed at experienced guitarists who:
• play an acoustic guitar (steel-string/Western guitar),
• have a solid command of basic chords,
• can play and count in time,
• can maintain strumming and picking patterns reliably,
• enjoy playing songs together.
This is not a beginner’s guitar course, but rather a collaborative pop, folk, rock, and country guitar ensemble for experienced players who want to perform well-known songs as a group.
Preparation
The songs for each session will be announced in advance, along with recommended strumming or picking patterns. Please prepare the pieces independently and bring the materials with you—either printed out or on a tablet. This allows us to devote our time together entirely to making music. It is intended exclusively for participating guitarists; For a curious, bright and wonderful audience/listeners there will be other devoted events for this purpose.

Brazilian Zouk. 18:45 - Training group 3 (advanced level); 19:55 - Training group 2 (intermediate level); 21:00 - Social (open). Admission to Training groups requires a certain level of dance skills, and room capacities. Please get in touch with us beforehand (team@zouk-jena.de), so that we can assess your level and choose the appropriate training format for you. Regular attendance is required to achieve progress, drop-in only upon prior arrangement. For the social all Zouk dancers independent of their dance experience are welcome!
